Thanks all for coming to group last week at our new venue. I know it's not Hannah Fields but it was a good turnout. I have tried, but Rolls Royce don't have any rooms closer to the outdoor space for us to use...so for now, the two rooms closer to the carpark is what we have. If anyone knows of any other suitable venues with indoor and outdoor space, please do feel free to enquire or let me know and I will. In the meantime...see you on Thursday at Rolls Royce Pavillion.

This is Rolls Royce Pavilion - the new space for our Autistic Girls Social Group. We have one session left at Hannah Fields and then will be moving here from October 1st.

We will have two large rooms (like in the video below) as well as a flood lit field and a lit outdoor seating area.

Hannah Fields has been incredible but over Winter we are going to need more indoor space and lighting.

WE ARE MOVING!

From Thursday October 1st - our Autistic Girls Social Group will be moving.

We absolutely LOVE Hannah Fields and it has been the perfect location for the girls - but with the dark nights coming, there is not enough lighting for us to continue running our group safely there.

Our last session at Hannah Fields will be next Thursday (24th September) and from the following week we are moving to Rolls Royce Pavilion, Moor Lane, Allenton.

Please spread the word to anyone you know who comes to our group, or who wants to join.

It will still be on Thursdays from 6-7.30pm and we will have use of two large rooms, plus a floodlit outdoor pitch and a lit outdoor seating area.

I know many of our girls don't like change so I will be sending an email with a video so you can show them in advance.

We will still be selling drinks / snacks but it will be CASH ONLY.

Sadly, with the weather forecast to be thunderstorms today, we will have to cancel girls group this evening. Please pass the message on to anyone you know who may not see Facebook.

Looking forward to another Autistic Girls Social Group this Thursday. It's forecast to be another hot evening, but there is plenty of shade and refreshments available in the cafe. Hope to see you there.

Every child begins with a free assessment call, helping us understand whether these sessions are the right fit.

Orla, a beautiful, award winning Goldendoodle therapy dog will be visiting our Girls Group on 23rd June and if it goes well, may become a regular visitor.

If you don't like dogs, it's totally fine. She'll be based at the far end of the garden by the fire pit and will be on a lead the entire time so you don't need to see her.

If you do like dogs though, Orla would love a cuddle / play / walk.

We are so lucky to have Hannah Fields as the setting for our Autistic Girls Social Group - 2 acres of woodland and community garden space, a bell tent, a café and an activities cabin. It's like Derby's very own Secret Garden!
