It's that time of year, illnesses are doing the rounds! I get lots of questions about whether it is ok to attend or not....

It's that time of year, illnesses are doing the rounds! I get lots of questions about whether it is ok to attend or not. So here are your answers.

I know it's disappointing to miss weeks, but if your little one is showing signs of
- chicken pox
- hand, foot and mouth disease
- a high temperature
- generally unwell/not themselves
Or if they have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours, please do not attend sessions.

If they are feeling better later in the week or early in the next, I will always do my best to accommodate you attending a different class.

Keeping everyone safe and healthy is the priority.

If they have a sniffle, or a small cough, but no temperature and they are generally well within themselves, please don't feel you have to stay away. Let's be honest, if we did we'd never go anywhere!

If you are in any doubt please send me a message and we can have a chat. I know it is a tough balance, but your cooperation and support is hugely appreciated as we enter the winter months!

I realise now how out of order it was to be so judgemental. Some days I feel like I am winning at parenting, others I do what I need to survive and nothing more. Parenting is hard and we all need support, not judgement.

I understand that our education system leads us to believe that learning happens when we are sat listening to a teacher. But let me remind you, that isn't the whole story.

Your children are learning so much by playing, all day long.

These activities are a core part of our sessions, sometimes we have too much fun to realise what we're gaining!
