This is a special one for us…
We want to say a huge congratulations to Rupture Productions and the team behind SLAYERS.
Written by our former brilliant Executive Producer Corinne Salisbury, it’s been awarded a Scotsman Fringe First at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Hugely well-deserved and as the very first production from Rupture Productions, this is the first of many exceptional shows - one to watch!

How do you tell a story that will last for generations?
It starts with listening.
The stories shared throughout Our Story were recorded by young creatives from Mansfield after months of training with artists, filmmakers, photographers and oral historians.
Every conversation became part of something bigger—a celebration of Nottinghamshire’s trans and gender-diverse communities that will live on in Nottinghamshire Archives for future generations.
We can’t wait for you to discover it.
📍 Admission is free throughout the tour. Link in bio to discover more.

We were proud to join the standing ovation and celebrate the hard work over the last three years (and more) of Derby Theatre Community Programme’ steering groups! It’s been a huge and brilliant project so fitting to have marked this occasion with some of Derby’s finest entertainment and dishes all in the Museum of Making. Here’s to many more years of making stronger communities, warm partnerships and great friends in the Midlands 💪🫶🤝

Did you miss the bus? Don’t worry, if you didn’t get your hands on a Golden Ticket to our Pop-Up Workshop, we have some behind the scenes snaps for you!

In April, we worked with local East Midlands playwright Finley-Rose Townsend and invited local bus passengers, drivers or anyone with a story to tell to take a road trip with us from Derby to Matlock.

In the driving seat, they helped shape a new play questioning who sets the route: exploring community, human error, delays, detours and how automation is changing our lives.

Buckle up for more updates soon, and for now, please share your favourite or funniest travel memory in the comments, wherever you are!

🎉 Do you want to change whose stories are remembered?
We’ve continued to celebrate the launch of Our Story – a powerful new exhibition spotlighting Nottinghamshire’s trans and gender-diverse communities.
This time, we took a moment with Nottinghamshire Archives to recognise the impact of the Our Story Young Creatives work with artists, historians and creative practitioners to record oral histories, take portrait photographs, make artwork and bring these stories to life through brand new audio dramas.
Through their effort, they are changing who has their experiences seen, heard and remembered.
Now it’s your turn to be part of changing the conversation around history and heritage and share your thoughts on their work.
✨ Our Story is touring across Nottinghamshire, so come along, explore the exhibition, listen to the stories and celebrate Nottinghamshire’s rich trans and gender-diverse history.
