📞 You Could Be Selected for Our Tenant Satisfaction Survey

At Railway Housing Association, we're committed to listening to our residents and using your feedback to improve our services.

Over the coming weeks, our independent research partner, Acuity, will be contacting 310 residents selected at random to take part in our annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey.

The survey takes around 10 minutes and gives residents the opportunity to tell us what we're doing well and where we can do better.

🔥 Wildfire risk - let's look out for each other 🔥

With hot, dry conditions creating a very high risk of wildfires, we’re asking everyone to take extra care and help keep our communities safe.

🔥 Help prevent fires
❌ Don’t use disposable barbecues, firepits, campfires or garden incinerators.
❌ Don’t set off fireworks.
🚭 Never throw ci******es or matches onto dry grass or vegetation.
🍾 Don’t leave glass bottles or rubbish in areas of dry vegetation.

🗑️ Keep communal areas clear

Please don’t leave furniture, mattresses, garden waste or other rubbish in communal areas, bin stores, gardens or outside your home. These items can increase fire risk and block access or escape routes.

If you see fly-tipping or a build-up of combustible materials around a Railway property, please report it to us so we can take action.

💙 Look out for your neighbours

If you have an elderly, disabled or vulnerable neighbour, please check in on them. If you or someone you know may need extra help in an emergency, think about who could help and how you would leave safely.

🔥 If you see a wildfire

Move to a safe location and call 999 immediately. Don’t put yourself at risk trying to tackle the fire. If emergency services advise you to evacuate, follow their instructions and leave immediately.

We have two exciting opportunities to join to drive improvements in the services we deliver to our residents every day.

Community Housing Team Leader: this exciting new leadership role will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a consistent, high-quality, community housing service. Leading our team of Community Housing Coordinators and driving performance to ensure a resident-centred service which runs efficiently and is continuously improving to ensure we meet our residents needs.

Resident Voice Coordinator: this vital role ensure residents voices are heard, understood and influence the services we provide, with a central role in managing and improving how we handle complaints and use resident feedback to drive continuous improvement to strengthen our overall resident experience.

On Wednesday 27th May, the Regulator of Social Housing published an update confirming that Railway Housing Association has been upgraded from a C2 to a C1 grading; a great result for our residents.

This means the regulator has judged that we are now fully meeting its consumer standards, after we were inspected in September 2025.

This is a significant moment for Railway Housing Association and reflects the hard work, commitment and determination shown across our organisation over a sustained period of time.

The regulator recognised the progress we had made in strengthening services for residents, improving how we listen and respond to feedback, and making sure residents remain at the heart of decision-making.

Our full judgement means:
• We are well-governed and being run properly
• We are financially viable, with the capacity to deal with a reasonable range of financial risks
• We are fully meeting consumer standards

We would like to thank our residents who have worked with us, challenged us and shared feedback throughout this journey. Your views and experiences have helped shape the improvements we’ve made.

This outcome is something we are proud of, but we also know it is not the finish line. Achieving C1 gives us a strong platform to go even further.

We now want to build on this momentum and ensure even further improvement to delivering quality homes and services, and consistently excellent outcomes for our residents.
