πŸ’– WEEKLY MATCH ROUND-UP πŸ’–

Another week of hard work, determination and team spirit from our Revive teams! While the results didn’t quite go our way this week, there were plenty of positives to take from both performances. πŸ‘πŸΌ

🏐 Revive Panthers 5 - 17 Bluebells
The Panthers faced a strong Bluebells side on Monday evening. Despite the scoreline, the team continued to battle throughout the game, showing great resilience and never giving up. There were some fantastic passages of play and plenty of effort across the court as the team worked hard for every ball.

⭐ Player of the Match: Lyssa Johnson
A special mention to Lyssa, who put in a brilliant performance and led by example with her determination, effort and attitude throughout the game.

🏐 Revive Phoenix 11 - 13 Seaham Pearls
A much-improved performance from Phoenix in a closely contested game. The team fought hard from the first whistle to the last and pushed their opponents all the way. The score remained tight throughout, with Phoenix showing great teamwork, determination and composure under pressure. Although they narrowly missed out on the win, there are lots of positives to build on going forward.

⭐ Player of the Match: Lillie Bishop
Lillie had an outstanding game, working tirelessly across the court and making a huge impact for her team with her effort and commitment.

Every game is an opportunity to learn, improve and grow stronger together, and we’re proud of the effort shown by all our players this week. πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ’–

Congratulations to both of our Players of the Match, and well done to all the players who represented Revive this week. Onwards and upwards! πŸ”₯🏐

What if joining a netball club changed more than just your fitness?

At Revive, we've seen women make friends for life, rebuild their confidence, improve their mental wellbeing, find a community after having children, and rediscover a sport they thought they'd left behind years ago.

Some of our members hadn't played since school.

Some joined knowing nobody.

Some were nervous walking onto court for the very first time.

Now they're teammates, friends, tournament winners, training partners, and part of something much bigger than netball.

Revive isn't just about the matches we play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It's about Tuesday nights at training.

It's about the laughs.

It's about the cake after sessions.

It's about supporting each other through life's ups and downs.

It's about finding something that's just for you.

As women, mums, partners, daughters and carers, we often spend so much time looking after everyone else that we forget to make time for ourselves.

Netball gave that back to many of us.

And it might do the same for you.

Whether you've never played before, haven't picked up a ball in 25 years, or you're looking for a new club to call home, we'd love to welcome you.

Training:
Every Tuesday
6.30pm - 7.30pm
Hummersknott School
Women 18+
Β£4.50 per session

Come and meet the team.

Come and have a laugh.

Come and see what Revive is all about.

Come for the netball. Stay for the community.

A week of tough games and plenty of positives to take away for our Revive teams πŸ’ͺ🩷

Our Panthers faced a strong Headlanders side, going down 23-11. The team kept battling right until the final whistle and showed great determination throughout. Huge congratulations to Player of the Match Amy Bennett for an outstanding performance ⭐

Phoenix were involved in an absolute thriller against Crystal Ambers, narrowly losing 24-23 in a fast-paced game that could have gone either way. The team worked tirelessly from start to finish and should be proud of the performance. Player of the Match went to Becci Binks for a brilliant display on courtπŸ‘

Hornets took on Farrington Falcons and despite the 27-18 result, the team showed fantastic fight, teamwork and resilience across all four quarters. Player of the Match was Laura Harris, with Captains Player going to Ellie Denham for their hard work and impact on court πŸ’–

Well done to all our players this week β€” heads up, keep working hard and onto the next one! 🏐πŸ”₯

Revive Netball Tryouts – Division 5 Squad

Revive are holding tryouts for players who would like to join our squad for the England Netball Redcar and Cleveland League.

We’re looking for higher social level players across all positions to represent Revive, Darlington and the local area.

Games start in September and run through to around April, and we’re going straight into Division 5, so no playoffs needed.

We’re aiming to build a squad of around 15 players.

Tryouts will be held on a Tuesday evening in June. Date and details to follow.

Interested? Drop us a message and come along.
