We will not be returning tomorrow as planned, due to an opportunity for staff training (which is mandatory training that needs to be done every 2 years).

We will reopen next Saturday 2nd May.

Well like that another easter break has arrived 🐰🐰

What a day we had, easter bowling 🎳🎳🎳 yes with the eggs as bowling balls

Now up to yous to decide cream egg toasties yes or no haha 🍞🍞🍞

We are off for the next 2 weeks (10th and the 17th) so on behave of the bill russell woodburn youth project team please enjoy the break, have fun

Tonight we held our AGM – thank you to everyone who came along.

For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a snapshot of what our youth club means to the community 💛

We’re proud of everything that’s been achieved and excited for what’s still to come.

Dawn here. I would love to join this. But Derek just said to me that I am not **funny funny**, but, I am most definitely (I kid you not) **funny peculiar**. Can't believe I have wasted some good one liners in the Beacon office if not appreciated!

Pride aside, have you ever thought you would like to give 'Stand Up Comedy' a go? That making people laugh is your bag? Do you love telling a great story?

EVERYONE has a story to tell and everyone has the ability to make people laugh. Now here is your chance to learn the skills to prove it. 6 Week Stand Up Comedy Course starts April 4th 12 - 2PM here at the Beacon.

Working towards a live comedy gig (of which you are the headliner) on the 23rd May here at the Beacon. The weekly workshops will be led by comedian Viv Gee whose past students include Richard Gadd, Mark Nelson, Jay Lafferty, Susie McCabe, Des McLean and Des Clarke.
