Come along and join us for a fantastic community day at The Pavilion in the Park!

We will be selling hot and cold drinks and cakes.

We have a large grassy outdoor area, so feel free to bring your own picnic and make the most of the day. Gather with friends, enjoy some fresh air and spend time with your local community.

Do you know a young person looking for something productive to do over the summer holidays?

☀We're looking for young people (aged 14-20) to volunteer with our youth led community event project this Summer. It's the perfect chance to learn valuable, transferable skills in a relaxed & fun environment - and get a Saltire Award as recognition!

Our Community Event Volunteers work together to organise, promote, and host an event at our beautiful community garden in Dalkeith Country Park.

Dates:
- Tuesday 28 July & Wednesday 29 July, 10am-3pm
- Tuesday 4 August & Wednesday 5 August, 10am-3pm
- Friday 7 August, 12pm-5pm

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TOMORROW! Gala Eve Sessions 🎶
‼️ The band and bar are within a marquee. There will be a barrier around the licensed area, alcohol can be consumed within this area ONLY.
‼️ We have limited capacity - it’s first come first serve. If you bring your own chair we ask that this is set up outside the licensed area due to limited space. There will be some seating provided.
‼️This is a free event to attend, no ticket needed.
‼️The event is from 6-10pm. Entry before 6pm will not be possible.
‼️Anyone under the age of 18 needs to accompanied by an adult.
‼️ Only alcohol purchased from the bar provided is allowed. Please don’t bring your own.

We're looking forward to our traditional Gala Week Concert in The Dean Tavern. this Thursday from 7.30pm. Featuring sets from the Silver Band and our amazing Junior Band. Entry is free but donations are always welcome.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the mammoth task of emptying the pantry building today to make way for the new flooring being fitted tomorrow.

As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and with everyone’s help the job was done in no time.

Your support and willingness to pitch in is hugely appreciated. Thank you all! 💛

The manky carpet (I’m not quite sure how old it is) will soon be lovely sparkly lino.

What a lovely, busy afternoon! ☕🍰

There was plenty to enjoy with delicious soup, sandwiches and lots of yummy cakes.

A huge thank you to Marjory from the Co-op for providing the food and entertainment – the musical bingo was a massive hit! 🎶

A special mention also goes to Wendy, who worked her magic baking scones in every flavour, and to Yvonne for all her help with the preparation, serving and clearing up afterwards.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. We hope you all had a wonderful time, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! 💛
