The SUNS Garden Drop-In: Friday 18 September, 10.30am–12pm
Scarsdale Health Centre Community Garden, off Nightingale Close, Newbold Road, S41 7PF
The SUNS (Small Urban Nature Space ) garden at Scarsdale has been attracting some lovely visitors over the summer. As part of the Big Butterfly Count, we carried out six 15-minute counts and spotted a range of butterflies and moths, including Small Whites, Painted Ladies, Gatekeepers, Red Admirals, Peacocks and the spectacular Hummingbird Hawkmoth.
Garden Drop-In: Friday 18 September, 10.30am–12pm
Come along for an informal drop-in, have a look around and see how the garden is developing. If you fancy getting your hands dirty, there may also be a little watering or weeding to do! Everyone is welcome to drop in for as much or as little of the session as they like. We look forward to seeing what the garden brings us as we move into autumn.
