We’re Hiring a Countryside Project Supervisor! 🌿

Bolsover Woodlands Enterprise is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to lead our woodland and countryside work. This role supports adults with learning disabilities to build skills while taking part in meaningful conservation projects across Bolsover and North East Derbyshire.

You’ll bring experience in environmental or countryside management, confidence in leading groups, strong health and safety standards, and the ability to plan work and collaborate with partners and contractors.

Sorry we've been quiet! Here's a little photo catch up of just some of what we've been up to in January so far. We've all been learning new skills both in the workshop, out in the countryside and in nature connections. Team members have learnt the art of leading the safety talk, practiced using the band saw and reciprocal mower, making pizzas, stews, cakes and cards for friends. We've seen some real increases in confidence and lots of smiling faces.

This role involves leadership of all business functions including Business Plan delivery, staff and volunteer management, financial planning, health and safety and stakeholder engagement.
