This week we sent out X300 Snapp-it wellbeing support packs along with lots of extra goodies to support students at Allestree Woodlands School πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ

These will be given out to support students on October 9th as part of the YoungMinds Hello Yellow event which takes place on World Mental Health day πŸ’›
Unfortunately we were unable to attend in person at this year’s event so the wonderful safeguarding team will be delivering these to students on our behalf.πŸ™πŸ»

Empowering our young people to get the right support, Snapp-it provides a safe and secure means of reaching out and accessing all your local & national Mental, Emotional, Physical, Sexual and Wellbeing service providers.
- The multi-purpose devices are wearable, usable, desirable and practical providing instant 24/7 access to a wealth of national and locally commissioned health and wellbeing support services as well as lots of self help support and fun stuff too through the Snapp-it app πŸ“± which is accessed via the QR codes on the Snapp-it devices.
All the hard work has been done for them providing the right and most needed information in the easiest, quickest and most intuitive way possible, Ensuring each young person has the right information to make a well informed choice. - Taking the anxiety out of taking action.
Connecting them to the right service so they get the right help at the right time enabling each and every student the best chance to grow into independent healthy adults without carrying the weight of the world with them.
A modern day approach to smart-health, you need something that’s quick and at your fingertips as early identification and intervention is key to reducing and preventing harm, for a greater sense of self-awareness and empowerment, it builds self-confidence and strengthens personal resilience πŸ™ŒπŸ“²πŸ™Œ

This delivery was made possible by the kind and generous funds gift to Snapp-it by the farrow family in memory of James β€˜Dodge’ Farrow πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ

This week we sent out x 20 snapp-it support packs to support young people at Rok-Ard Kickboxing and x50 packs to Go! Active @ The Arc in Clowne to be shared out to the young people who attend various groups at the centre.

These deliveries of snapp-it support packs were only made possible thanks to the wonderful Franky at Active Derbyshire for sharing our work with these organisations and of course most importantly the kind and generous donations gifted to us by the wonderful ladies at Walton knitters and the farrow family in memory of Dodge.

Empowering our young people to get the right support, Snapp-it provides a safe and secure means of reaching out and accessing all your local & national Mental, Emotional, Physical, Sexual and Wellbeing service providers.

Another fantastic event yesterday at Calow Gala πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ

Hayley & Jason attended once again with a Snapp-it support information stall and a tombola for fundraising.
Once again we ran out of support supplies & wellbeing packs and sold out of tombola by 2:30pm which is fantastic! So we got to spend the remaining few hours enjoying vibe and energy listening to the vocalists on stage. 😎πŸŽͺβ˜•οΈπŸ₯€

Each year we bring more and more, all that the car could carry and we sell out every time! this is always such a fantastic event with wonderful community spirit and such positive energy.
Lots of amazing charities, organisations and local businesses held stall, there’s always something for everyone. πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ
We were so busy we forgot to take any photos of the stall or ourselves this year! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ“Έ

We would like to say a Special Thank You to Sam, Penny and all those who helped to organise, run and volunteer at this event. As it’s a huge operation, which year on year just gets better and better. πŸ«ΆπŸ™πŸ»πŸ«Ά

It was a great end to the summer season 2026 and we have done some fantastic events across the summer at lots of different venues, met some amazing people and organisations along the way! πŸ™‚
We are so grateful to always be invited and be so well received by the community.
Most importantly we are so thankful for the community support we receive as without this and the vital fundraising and donations we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we do, As a very small volunteer lead charity it’s the community that has helped us continue to help keep Snapp-it running and getting the vital mental health support information out there to the young people across Derbyshire.
We had some amazing stories and positive feedback yesterday from people and individuals who came back from last year to tell us how Snapp-it helped them / their family which is always amazing to hear. πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ

This is the 3rd year that this community event has ran and every year it’s even better πŸ™Œ filled with amazing community spirit, a rare free event day for the whole family and a great place for everyone to come together and find out what local support is out there by the charity / community partners that attend.

As always it was a fantastic event for us, Hayley gave out lots of Snapp-it support information and it was a great opportunity to do some fundraising - We actually sold out which is fantastic πŸ™ŒπŸ’™πŸ™Œ.

We would like to give a special Thank You πŸ™πŸ» to the wonderful Vicki Louise Holmes & Tom from the Middlecroft Community Network for all their hard work in planning this event and everyone who helped set up on the day and had a hand in making it happen.🫢
