• Membership – We have 15 Full Members, 4 Auxiliary Members plus a Minnie Vinnies Group in St Mary’s Primary School
• We Support 47 Beneficiaries
• We made 1048 Beneficiary Visits
• We Phoned or Texted our Beneficiaries 382 times
• We Brought Holy Communion to the housebound on 187 occasions.
• We provided transport 12 times, shopping 17 times, took beneficiaries on 19 outings, attended 19 funerals, requested 22 Masses for the repose of souls, & made 18 donation visits to the SVP shop.
• Two members worked 868 hours at the Gussies Foodbank.
• Two other Members used their career skills to help one beneficiary to navigate the benefit system to find accommodation and potential employment. Whilst the other member helped a recently bereaved beneficiary, with visual impairment, reset his life as a widower, by negotiating with banks, mobile phone companies, government departments etc who can be less than empathetic when insisting on the use of on-line communication! And was a reassuring partner & chauffeur for face to face meetings.
• We are Twinned with two Indian SVP Conferences, who we support financially each year.

• Additional Donations/Gifts:
17 x £25 Food Vouchers donated to the High School & Primary School Families at Xmas
6 Xmas Hampers donated by Yr9 of the High School and distributed by Padley Martyrs to various causes.
15 Sleepings Bags for the Homeless lodged with the Parish Office for donation to callers.
2 Rucksacks with warm clothes and hygiene packs, donated to Pathways.
Sponsored a Petit Project for a SVP Conference in India (£790) to help set up micro businesses.
And Finally:
September 2025 was the Centenary of the formation of the SVP conference in Chesterfield, and a Mass was celebrated by Fr Adrian in the Annunciation, followed by a lunch with a wide selection of guests including many former members. A great day!
The next day we made our annual appeal to the Parish for their continued support of our work and they responded with their usual exceptional generosity.
