Amna Runs the Robin Hood Half Marathon for SAIL

Every survivor deserves to be seen, heard and believed.

At SAIL, we provide specialist, trauma-informed counselling for Derbyshire residents aged 14+ who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, in**st or sexual violence.

Every client is offered up to 26 one-hour counselling sessions, delivered by specialist counsellors who work at a pace that's right for each individual. Beyond counselling, we also offer opportunities for continued support through group work and creative therapies.

Our goal is to help survivors thrive, not just survive.

Fundraising Update from Amna!

Our incredible fundraiser, Amna, is now **9 weeks away** from the Robin Hood Half Marathon!

This week, Amna achieved a **2026 personal best** for her 5K, finishing in **26:12** (5:14/km pace). She's also continuing to build her mileage carefully as she recovers from a previous knee injury—showing that progress is about consistency, patience, and determination.

Every mile Amna runs is helping to raise funds so that more survivors can access specialist support through SAIL.
