We operate throughout England and North Wales, working mainly with primary schools in urban and other areas of high deprivation. Each year we bring the working countryside alive for around 25,000 children. The Country Trust is a registered charity number 1122103.

🚜 It's multiplayer day!

Did you know, 90% of children said that farms were important, and they wanted to find out more about farming, following their Country Trust visit? We help children explore that relationship first-hand.

We’re very grateful to Welsh Sim Farmer for rounding off a week of livestream fundraising with a six-hour Farming Simulator community multiplayer session in support of The Country Trust!

🌱 Over £1,500 raised for The Country Trust this week!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported From Pixels to Pastures so far. The £1,554 raised is equivalent to the approximate Farm Discovery programme costs for 50 children! 💚 Each of your donations will help The Country Trust connect more children facing disadvantage with farming, food and the countryside, giving them the chance to experience the natural world first-hand.

We’re delighted that Welsh Sim Farmer and CrewCutt are back tonight for another evening of Farming Simulator streaming in support of The Country Trust.

🚜 From Pixels to Pastures is back! 🌱

We're kicking off a week of creator-led fundraising in support of The Country Trust, helping more children facing disadvantage experience food, farming and the countryside first-hand. 🌱

Did you know, almost a quarter of children aged 6–11 don’t know what a harvest is?* We help children learn about food and farming through real experiences in the countryside. Your support can help more children access these opportunities.

We’re looking for an experienced fundraising leader with a strong track record of securing substantial income across multiple fundraising streams, who can develop and deliver fundraising strategies that drive sustainable growth.

✔️ Salary: £50,000–£55,000 FTE (depending on experience)
✔️ Hours: 30–35 per week
✔️ Location: Hybrid/home-based (ideally near Chelmsford/London)

We’re excited to announce our new pilot with Farmer Time, helping more children connect with farmers and discover where their food comes from.

We’re partnering with Farmer Time to trial a new approach that helps children stay connected to farming after their Farm Discovery visit.

Through regular video calls with a farmer, participating classes will continue exploring food, farming and nature throughout the year, building their curiosity and understanding of where their food comes from.

The pilot will also explore how these ongoing connections benefit children, teachers and farmers.

We’re excited to see what grows from this partnership!

🚜 Not long to go until From Pixels to Pastures!

From 26th October to 1st November, creators are teaming up to raise money for The Country Trust, which gives children facing disadvantage the chance to get out into the countryside and learn about food and farming for themselves. 🌱

It’s easy to take that connection for granted. But 92% of teachers supported by The Country Trust say that half or fewer of their pupils know where their food comes from. For 90% of teachers we work with, half or fewer of their pupils have been to the countryside before.

📺 Our biggest livestream fundraiser - From Pixels to Pastures - is taking shape!

We’re excited to share our current schedule for From Pixels to Pastures 2026, our week of creator-led fundraising in support of The Country Trust.

From 26th October to 1st November, creators will be streaming on their own YouTube channels to help raise funds and awareness so that more children facing disadvantage can experience food, farming and the countryside first-hand. 🌱

We’re delighted that Charles Dowding, Farmer Cop, Welsh Sim Farmer , CrewCutt, and Moose2006LP are among the creators currently lined up to take part, with more streams, creators and collaborations still to be announced.
