TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER 🤝🇿🇼
💔 My heart is broken. During this sensitive time, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the heartbreaking tragedy involving a Zimbabwean family in Bedfordshire.
As a community, this is a time to reflect, listen, and ask how we can better support individuals and families before situations reach a crisis point.
I would like to invite Zimbabwean community leaders, church leaders, charities, mental health professionals, and community organisations to come together—either in person or online—for an open and respectful conversation about domestic abuse, mental health, healthy relationships, safeguarding, and the role we all play in protecting our communities.
No single person or organisation has all the answers, but together we can:
* Raise awareness of domestic abuse and its warning signs.
* Break the silence and reduce stigma around seeking help.
* Share resources and strengthen referral pathways.
* Explore how faith communities and community organisations can work together to support those at risk.
* Build a safer, more compassionate community for everyone.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we can make a difference.
If you are a leader or organisation that would like to be part of this discussion, please comment below or send me a direct message. Let’s unite to create hope, healing, and practical solutions for our community.
