Considering splitting this beautiful Maine c**n for the right home, as her brother needs a special diet and she doesn’t like his boisterous play fights, although in the right home if he wasn’t bored and could be fed separately they could stay together

We have a beautiful pair of 2 year old Maine c**ns looking for a home together. Sadly they need to be rehomed due to owner having allergies. Loverly temperaments. Ideally looking for a home with a catio or enclosed garden as they have always been indoor cats. Please message [email protected] and leave and address and contact number if you’d like to offer these two a home.

Some of you may remember Bonnie who came in with 7 kittens. The runt was named Baby as she was so tiny due to her terrible tummy problems. She suffered continuously with diarrhoea but nothing came up on any of the vet samples we had analysed. However on the occasions she was isolated and given plain chicken it became apparent she was far worse, and eventually I realised she may have a chicken allergy. We tried her on plain white fish and for the first time ever Baby produced a solid poo, I think she was as surprised and happy as we were! Because chicken is in almost every cat food, especially the sensitive ones, none of the diets we had tried worked. She’s now on a diet totally free from poultry and has absolutely blossomed. Her before and after pics speak volumes and she’s now looking for a quiet home where she can continue to flourish.

Is there anyone able to foster a heavily pregnant cat in Chelmsford? Will need a spare room or safe place for her to give birth and raise her babies in a calm environment.

A few weeks ago we took in a heavily pregnant cat that has been living in a garden, and already had a litter last year out there. She gave birth to 5 kittens last week, on a freezing cold night, so it’s good that she had a safe warm place to give birth and raise her babies. So glad we made a space for her as the weather has been so cold at night lately. She and her babies will all be neutered once they are ready, and found responsible, loving homes. A clip of her adorable babies 🥰

🩶🐾 Overlooked Cat of the Week — Meet Milo 🐾🩶

https://catchat.org/find-a-shelter/springfield-animal-rescue/milo

🐱This week we want to introduce you to Milo, a beautiful 1 year 10 month old grey moggy who is currently waiting patiently at Springfield Animal Rescue.

Milo is blind — but he’s never let that define him. What he really wants is someone he can trust, someone gentle and kind who understands how important safety and reassurance are for him. Once Milo feels secure, he is incredibly loving and enjoys close companionship and cuddles. ❤️🩶

Milo needs a home where he can feel safe being picked up without fear, where he can explore without sudden surprises, and where hands always mean comfort. Because he can’t see, he needs to live indoors, but he would love access to a securely enclosed garden. He can’t scale tall fences and would enjoy spending calm moments outside with his person in good weather, soaking up fresh air and quiet time together. 😻

Sadly, Milo’s past hasn’t been easy. He was abandoned when his previous family moved away. Neighbours fed him as he stayed within a small patch of ground, choosing the outdoors because the noisy children in his home frightened him. Despite this, Milo’s heart remains open — he just needs a peaceful place to land. 💜

Milo is too timid to live with dogs or children and would thrive in a calm, adult-only home. He has lived with other cats before and could potentially live with a gentle, laid-back feline companion, though he may be happiest as an only cat where he can receive all the reassurance he needs. 😻

Milo isn’t asking for much — just safety, patience, and a loving human who will let him feel secure every day. Somewhere out there is the quiet home and kind heart Milo has been waiting for. 💛🐱

Last week we neutered Asha and Nova, the two kittens that were born outside and left with their mum out in the cold to fend for themselves. They were so good at the vet, even though they’re such a timid pair, and let the vet do everything needed without any fuss. Since they came back here they have been extra friendly with us, they both now come for strokes and purr loudly when getting a fuss. They can still be skittish with loud noises and are scared of strangers, so we need a home that can continue with their socialisation and someone who is calm and patient. The rewards are huge as these girls are very loving once you gain their trust, and very gentle. They are such pretty grey tabbies with beautiful markings and lovely temperaments that really deserve a perfect home. Here they are just waking up from their op, slightly bewildered still.
