Friends of Great Leighs School

Friends of Great Leighs School Friends of Great Leighs School (FOGLS) is a registered charity run by volunteers to help raise funds for our school.

These funds are used to help purchase new play equipment, educational materials and contribute towards field trips for the children's overall learning. We run many events through the year with the help of parents and staff. We are always looking for more volunteers, we are a really friendly bunch so please get in touch if you'd like to find out more.

🗓️ Saturday 18th April

⏰ 7pm for a 7.30pm start

🎟️ £5 per person (Adults only)

📍 Great Leighs Primary School hall

🍾Bring your own drink and snacks (no nuts ❌)

Money raised will go towards supporting our children at their wonderful school. There will be prizes up for grabs on the night so please bring some cash for the raffle 🫶🏼

How’s that for a Christmas Raffle Prize List! We hear even Santa himself is entering this year (c’mon you Spurs!)

Huge thank you to all the wonderful businesses for supporting our school and making this such a brilliant fundraiser for us 💫

Raffle tickets went home in bags last week and there is still time to get more from the School Office if friends and family want a chance to win some of these fab prizes too.

Raffle tickets to be returned on Wednesday 10th and the raffle will be drawn after school on Friday (there will be no extra tickets on sale on the day so don’t forget to get them in!)

What a magical way to kick-start the festive season 🎄

Thank you SO much to everyone who came along to our FOGLS Christmas wreath-making workshop on Thursday. We got creative, sipped something festive, and filled the room with Christmas cheer. Your wreaths were gorgeous and the atmosphere was even better!

December is just a few days away… we would love you to welcome the festive season with our Christmas Wreath Workshop, in support of Great Leigh’s Primary School 🎄

Tickets are £30pp - this covers everything you need to handcraft your very own door wreath, and also includes a welcome treat too ☺️

A wonderfully festive activity to do with friends, family or colleagues, this Thursday 4th December in the School hall at 7.30pm.

We have a fantastic list of prizes for our Summer raffle this year 🙌🏼

Raffle tickets went home in school bags last week, and if you’re feeling lucky - you can get extra tickets from the school office or village shop!

The raffle will be drawn at our Summer Fete on Friday 27th June, 5pm.

Not long until our Summer Fete on Friday 27th June 🙌🏼

This year we have Ellis Amusements bringing the fun with inflatables and rides, alongside our classic fete stalls and fav games including nerf guns, tombolas and tin can alley!

We’ll also have a bar, pick n mix and Domino’s pizza so please do join us after school for a fun afternoon!
