Friends of Great Leighs School Friends of Great Leighs School (FOGLS) is a registered charity run by volunteers to help raise funds for our school.

These funds are used to help purchase new play equipment, educational materials and contribute towards field trips for the children's overall learning. We run many events through the year with the help of parents and staff. We are always looking for more volunteers, we are a really friendly bunch so please get in touch if you'd like to find out more.

The BIG 100km walk

This weekend, the lovely Laura O’Malley, Christina Kavanagh and Jo Constantine are trekking 100km from Eastbourne to Arundel to raise money for FOGLS 💫 🤩

They are SO close to their £2500 target to help buy equipment for our school, and would be super grateful for sponsorship over the weekend to help them dig deep when this inevitably gets tough 💪🏼

If you would like to support them on this challenge to raise money for our lovely school the fundraising page is below.

Please sponsor and drop some comments below to help cheer them on!!

Go ladies - you’ve got this 💪🏼

🚀 Teddies Wanted! 🧸

With Toy Story 5 hitting cinemas today, now’s the perfect time to find those forgotten soft toys that are ready for their next adventure! 💛

We’re looking for teddies and soft toys for our Teddy Adoption Stall for our School Summer Fete.

If you have any cuddly friends that deserve a new home, we’d be so grateful if you could drop them into the school office between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Every donation helps make our stall extra special – thank you! 🥰

Raffle tickets to be returned on Wednesday 10th and the raffle will be drawn after school on Friday (there will be no extra tickets on sale on the day so don’t forget to get them in!)

What a magical way to kick-start the festive season 🎄

Thank you SO much to everyone who came along to our FOGLS Christmas wreath-making workshop on Thursday. We got creative, sipped something festive, and filled the room with Christmas cheer. Your wreaths were gorgeous and the atmosphere was even better!

Louise - you were fantastic 👏🏻 We’re already excited for next year! 🎄
