At our Summer funday last year, children, carers, staff, and birth children all came together to leave their mark – quite literally! 🖐💛

These colourful handprints represent the Foster Wales family, each one unique but coming together to create something beautiful. 💫

It was wonderful to see so much creativity, joy, and teamwork in action – a true reflection of what fostering is all about. 💕

Foster Care Fortnight Round-Up 💜

What a wonderful Foster Care Fortnight it has been – a lovely time to come together, celebrate, and catch up with so many of you.

We’ve enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, including a fun-filled day out at Amelia Trust Farm with our families, some energetic salsa dancing, a refreshing walk across the barrage, and a delicious afternoon tea at our celebration event. It’s been truly special to spend time together and recognise the incredible fostering community we have.

We’ve also been out and about in the local area, raising awareness of fostering and sharing the difference it can make in children’s lives. A huge thank you to our amazing foster carers who have supported us with this.

We had a wonderful day celebrating our incredible foster carers with a special afternoon tea at Cardiff City Stadium as part of our Foster Care Fortnight celebrations 💜

It was fantastic to be joined by two amazing care experienced young people, sharing their powerful stories and bringing the energy as our DJ, providing the perfect soundtrack for the day 🎶

We were also delighted to welcome Dr Daf James, multidisciplinary artist and 2024 BAFTA Breakthrough, whose inspiring presence added even more to a truly memorable event.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to recognise and celebrate the dedication, compassion and impact of our foster carers 🌟
