IWAW believes in Women from the community supporting women in the community. IWAW is blessed with members doing just that. Celebrating Commonwealth Day with The Royal Commonwealth Society in a historic building, the Pierhead truely drove in the message of the need for shared values, a sense of belonging and to create a space for open conversations for more diverse and democratic communities. Dear Shefali @⁨Shefali Verma⁩ your effort in organising this special day was tramendous and the work done by the organisation, very inspiring.
It was heartwarming to see so many IWAW members under this roof today who are passionate about supporting these values.
Hearty congratulations to RCS on a very successful event! 🌻

Salma Sharieff

As the Cultural Project Co-Lead for Bollywood Dance at the Indian Women’s Association of Wales (IWAW), I use dance as a way to bring women together across generations, from young girls to senior members of our community.
I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive space where women of all ages can connect, express themselves, and celebrate Indian culture. For me, Bollywood dance is more than just movement. It builds confidence, supports wellbeing, and strengthens the bonds within our community. My aim is to ensure that every woman feels welcome, valued, and inspired to take part, regardless of her age or experience.

Rimpie Mudgal – Well-being Coach | IWAW

At IWAW, I am deeply committed to guiding individuals toward discovering their authentic needs and aligning them with their life aspirations. My journey as a Well-being Coach has been devoted to helping people move from confusion to clarity, and from intention to meaningful manifestation.

IWAW is a transformative initiative focused on personal growth through small yet powerful shifts in mindset and action. The Karuna sessions, led by the founders of IWAW, have profoundly influenced my professional journey. They have strengthened my confidence, deepened my research, and inspired my continuous evolution as a coach. Being part of IWAW has reinforced my belief that true transformation always begins within.

Through online healing and life coaching sessions conducted via Zoom, I support individuals in reconnecting with themselves, rediscovering their inner strength, and moving toward a more fulfilling, meaningful, and purpose-driven life.

Happy International Women’s Day.
— Rimpie Mudgal

Kavita
I am the Social Media Project Co-Lead for IWAW, responsible for developing the organisation’s website and digital platforms to establish a clear and accessible online presence. My role includes the creation and management of social media channels, bespoke email systems, online registration and feedback forms, and QR-enabled resources that support effective communication and information sharing. Through this work, I have contributed to shaping a digital environment that reflects our values and ensures our mission is accessible to all.
Being part of IWAW’s Walk to Thrive group gave me the confidence to take on the Shine Night Walk Cardiff 10K 2025. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire IWAW team, whose encouragement inspired me to fundraise in support of Cancer Research UK as a IWAW member.
I am honoured to be part of IWAW and remain fully committed to supporting the organisation’s aims and objectives
