Could your community turn one small idea into something that helps people and planet? 🌱
Today, we are launching Small Eco Awards, a new funding programme for communities across Wales who want to take practical action for their local environment.
We know communities care deeply about the places they live, meet, volunteer and spend time together. We’ve heard from groups who want environmental funding to feel accessible, practical and rooted in real local action and this funding responds to those needs.
Small Eco Awards can support ideas that bring people together and make local places greener, healthier and more resilient. You do not need to be an environmental organisation to apply. You just need a practical idea that could make a positive difference where you live.
Read our new blog to find out more about Small Eco Awards and how to apply:

We are also excited to announce that from today, we have more than doubled the more than doubled the maximum grant available under the Sustainable Steps Wales - Egin programme from £15,000 to £35,000.
We have done this after listening to communities about rising project costs, and to help projects coming through the Egin programme meet their environmental ambitions with larger awards.

A allai eich cymuned droi un syniad bach yn rhywbeth sy'n helpu pobl a'r blaned? 🌱
Heddiw, rydym yn lansio Grantiau Bach Gwyrdd, rhaglen ariannu newydd ar gyfer cymunedau ledled Cymru sydd am gymryd camau ymarferol dros eu hamgylchedd lleol.
Rydym yn gwybod bod cymunedau’n poeni’n fawr am y mannau lle maen nhw'n byw, yn cwrdd, yn gwirfoddoli ac yn treulio amser gyda'i gilydd. Rydym wedi clywed gan grwpiau sydd eisiau i ariannu amgylcheddol deimlo'n hygyrch, ymarferol ac wedi'i wreiddio mewn gweithredu lleol go iawn ac mae'r grant hwn yn ymateb i'r anghenion hynny.
Gall Grantiau Bach Gwyrdd gefnogi syniadau sy’n dod â phobl ynghyd a throi mannau lleol yn fwy gwyrdd, mwy iach a mwy gwydn. Does dim rhaid i chi fod yn sefydliad amgylcheddol i wneud cais. Dim ond syniad ymarferol sydd ei angen a allai wneud gwahaniaeth cadarnhaol lle rydych chi’n byw.
Darllenwch ein blog newydd i ddarganfod mwy am ein Grantiau Bach Gwyrdd a sut i wneud cais: https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/welsh/newyddion/galwad-i-ch-cymuned-gymryd-cam-bach-dros-yr-amgylchedd-mae-grantiau-bach-gwyrdd-bellach-ar-agor-am-geisiadau
Rydym hefyd yn gyffrous i gyhoeddi ein bod wedi mwy na dyblu’r uchafswm grant sydd ar gael o dan raglen Camau Cynaliadwy Cymru – Egin o £15,000 i £35,000.
Rydym wedi gwneud hyn ar ôl gwrando ar gymunedau am gostau cynyddol prosiectau, ac i helpu cymunedau sy’n dod trwy’r rhaglen Egin i gyflawni eu huchelgeisiau amgylcheddol gyda grant yn fwy.
