👙 Introducing Our Bra Bank at Brachdy House! 💗

We're delighted to announce that Rumney Forum now has a Bra Bank at Brachdy House, giving our community another simple way to make a difference.

Did you know that bras are one of the most commonly thrown away items of clothing? By donating your unwanted bras instead of sending them to landfill, you can help protect the environment while supporting a great cause.

Here's how it works:

💗 Bring your unwanted bras (in any condition) to our Bra Bank at Brachdy House.
♻️ Your donations will be collected and recycled or repurposed, helping to reduce textile waste.
❤️ Good quality bras can be given a second life, helping women in need.
💙 Every bra donated also helps raise valuable funds to support Rumney Forum and the services we provide to our community.

It's a small donation that can have a big impact—for people and for the planet.

If you're visiting Brachdy House, why not bring along any bras you no longer need and pop them into our Bra Bank?

Thank you for helping us support our community while protecting our environment. Together, we can make a real difference. 💕

A Kind Reminder About Donations 💙📦

Firstly, thank you to everyone who continues to support us with donations. Your generosity helps us provide vital support to local individuals and families throughout our community.

We would like to kindly ask that donations are brought directly into the building during our opening hours wherever possible.

Unfortunately, just this week, donations left outside the building have been removed without permission before they could be collected by our team. We have also had donations spoiled after being left outside overnight in the rain, meaning they could no longer be used to help those in need.

To ensure your kind donations reach the people they are intended for, please drop them off when we are open:

🕘 Tuesday – Thursday
🕑 9:00am – 2:00pm

If you are unable to visit during these times, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we can make sure every donation has the greatest possible impact for our community. 💙
