Llanrumney Hall Community Trust An innovative regeneration of Llanrumney Hall brought to you by the Llanrumney Hall Community Trust.

Llanrumney Hall: “One of Cardiff’s hidden treasures” – The Guardian

Originally built in 1450 and rebuilt in 1852, the historically prosperous and Grade II* listed Elizabethan Mansion of Llanrumney Hall stands prominently off Ball Road in the lower area of Llanrumney. The Llanrumney Hall Community Trust is a community led trust set up to steer the regeneration of Llanrumney Hall into a vital thriving community hub in East Cardiff.

We are making a bold proposition to the local community to provide a life changing community hub needed by the community and offering services not duplicated in the surrounding area. This includes the Llanrumney Hall Pantry, a food facility service providing heavily subsidised groceries and household goods to the local community; a Gardening Club; an Over 50's Lunch Club; room rentals for local groups and business; educational courses in partnership with Cardiff & Vale College and so much more.

Throughout September, members of the Llanrumney Hall team laced up their trainers and took on a challenge close to our hearts: walking 30 miles each to raise funds for Dementia UK.

By the end of the month, our team had clocked up 500+ miles between them, raising £418 in support of the charity and its work with families affected by dementia.

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia nurses who offer life-changing support to families, helping them navigate some of the most difficult and challenging moments that dementia can bring.

We’re incredibly proud of our staff who took part and kept those miles ticking over throughout September, whether that meant heading out for dedicated walks or adding a few extra miles into their day.

Most of all, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the challenge and donated. Every contribution helped make our miles count towards something much bigger, and we’re delighted with what we achieved together 🌻💛
