🎃🧡 What a Month at Connex Care and Support! 🧡🎃
What a busy and exciting month it’s been across Connex Care and Support! 🤩 There’s been so much happening, and we’ve loved sharing some of our highlights with you!
👻 Getting spooky! We’ve been out and about enjoying the famous Halloween decorations at Hanging Gate and Whaley Bridge, as well as getting creative with Halloween crafts at coffee mornings and at the Day centre.
🥁 Music and fun! Jake and Will showed off their drumming skills at our Day Centre music session. Who knows, we might have some future rock stars on our hands! 🎶🎸
🚗 Exploring new places! We’ve enjoyed trips to lots of exciting places, including museums, Pomeroy Farm and The Level, making the most of opportunities to get out and about in the community.
🍰 Good food and great company! There’s been baking, enjoying a yummy Sunday roast and plenty of opportunities to spend time together and make memories.
💙 100 Miles for Autism! A huge well done to Taisha, who has worked so hard to complete her 100 Miles for Autism challenge. We’re so proud of your dedication and effort! 🏃♀️👏
🧼 Infection Control Week! We also celebrated Infection Control Week, raising awareness of the importance of good infection prevention practices and keeping everyone safe.
🎉 Celebrating 25 years! October also marked an incredible milestone as we celebrated the amazing Rachael Mitchell’s 25 years of service at Connex! Thank you, Rachael, for everything you’ve contributed over the years. ❤️
💪 From trips to the gym and creative activities to exploring new places and celebrating achievements, it’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, trying new things and enjoying themselves.
A massive thank you to our fantastic staff for making all these experiences possible. We can’t wait to see what next month brings! 🧡✨
