Yes another Council survey - this one is from HPBC and feeds into drawing up a plan for each area of the High Peak to provide some consistency through the transition period as we move to a new larger unitary authority over the next couple of years. For that plan to reflect the priorities and values of our community we all need to contribute to the process. This is just the start of the process, please participate if you can.

There's still time to register your interest to attend the online engagement session to help develop our locality plans for the Hope Valley area of High Peak.

The session takes place on 15 June @ 6pm.

Derbyshire County Council have launched their 'Your Council Your Voice' residents' survey, “which gives you the opportunity to tell us what you think about the services we run, your thoughts about where you live and whether you’d like to see changes or improvements – and, if so, in what way. The survey is made up of 30 main questions and all answers will be closely analysed and used to feed into shaping the next Council Plan and ensuring budgets are targeted where they are most needed.” You can take part in the survey online. https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/have-your-say/consultation-search/consultation-details/your-council-your-voice-2026.aspx Paper copies are also available at libraries.

Delighted to see our neighbours Environment Group launching their Library of Things toy. They’ve already been running for a couple of months and got 100 items in their inventory. Every town and area needs this sort of community service to reduce waste.
