Harley the little hog featured here is one of the juveniles that are staring to come in. He was taken into Chesterfield vets now. He’s got ringworm, capillary’s and fluke. He was 161g on arrival but up to 291 at moment..🎉

The new incubators have been an asset in his and others recoveries ❤️🦔🦔🦔

Also, thanks to the lovely Lucy M of Buxton civic association, I received a grant from the Bingham trust to go towards buying new incubators…

So much to my excitement! (It’s like Christmas to me ❤️), I’ve bought 2 brand new Brinsea TLC40 incubators for my hedgehogs…
These are essential for hedgehog rescue as most of the hedgehogs we receive are hypothermic, very sick or very young..
so thanks so much Lucy for helping me to get these 🙏🙏

I also want to thank Jeremy and Jean (and Antonia) of the Butterton community bus stop charity for their generous donation today.. all the support very much appreciated as I couldn’t do it without. Medicines food and other consumables cost a lot of money, which I couldn’t afford alone, especially with the numbers of hedgehogs I see. 🦔🦔🦔🦔

Hi anyone in Boden road area of Chapel want to release a hedgehog in their garden please ? She’s completed treatment but can’t go back to original garden.
Need to support feed and provide water, no visiting badgers or bitey dogs

Any injured or flystruck (maggoty) hogs should be taken to a vets please..
any ill hogs(out in the day) or hoglets, please find your nearest rescue on helpmywildlife.co.uk

Ashford animal rescue and rehabilitation (Bakewell vets will take on Kirsty’s behalf if you can’t get her)

Also, big thanks to the lovely Lucy Marsden for securing a grant from the Bingham trust which I can use to get 2 more Brinsea incubators ❤️❤️ these are absolutely essential in hedgehog rescue..
I’ve used my 3 current ones so much this current season for very poorly collapsed adult hogs to little babies..
I’m over the moon to be able to get 2 more now. Thankyou very much 🥰❤️🦔
