Whaley Bridge Food Bank is set up and run by the Canal Group. We operate a soft referral system with no paperwork required for people to use us.

We appreciate any and all donations. Follow our posts to keep up-to-date with what we're most in need of.

Odd post…. We're trying to locate the kind person who dropped off two bags of donations for us yesterday (Monday) at around 3.30pm; a B&M bag and a Tesco bag.

Thing is, another soul picked them up just after you and when they were returned today they appeared to be a lot lighter.

It's recorded on CCTV, but we'd just like to make sure that the second person wasn't given permission. They may even have thought they were being helpful minding them while we were closed and dropping them off again when we were closed.

Any help gratefully received.

This week we're in urgent need of UHT milk, squash, tinned meat, tinned fruit, toiletries (especially shampoo, deodorant and shower gel) and pet food.

If you're able to donate, we'd be hugely grateful.

Our neighbours need us.

Our food bank continues to see high demand, and even a few items from each of us can make a big difference. If you’re able, please add a couple of these most-needed items to your next shop and drop them off at the basket at the food bank.
