We're reaching out to our amazing Whaley Bridge community to see if anyone is able to donate any of the below items.

These essential items are integral to keeping the food bank operational, and we'd be hugely grateful for and drop-offs received.

***UPDATE***

We have now managed to open, however the message remains the same, we'd very much welcome new volunteers :-)

Unfortunately we've had to close the food bank today due to a shortage of volunteers.

If you can a spare a couple of hours, either on a regular basis, or just ad hoc we'd really welcome your support.

Our opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm to 2.30pm and Saturday 11am to 12 noon. Volunteers would usually be there thirty minutes prior to opening, just to ensure that everything is ready.

If you think that you might be interested please pop up and see Nev or Nicola in the book shop upstaurs.

Whaley Bridge Foodbank put out an urgent appeal for milk, cereal, sardines, tea bags, rice pudding, and toiletries! And Alex went down to donate a load of these! Keep up the amazing work and thank you to their hard-working volunteers for such a lovely welcome! ❤️

We're often asked what we need most at the food bank.

The list varies week on week, but right now, we're really short on the below items.

If you'd like to donate, we'd really appreciate UHT milk, tea bags, cereal, sardines, rice pudding and toiletries (soap, deodorant, toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo).

Our monthly market (in the sun and indoors). Not to be missed :-)

Don't forget our book and coffee shop upstairs. And don't forget to have a stroll around the village.

It's come to our attention that we haven't posted in a while :-)

Days like today, when we've had seventeen visitors, it's great to see that we're here for more than just bellies. People enjoy the company and the chat.
