Advance warning that on Remembrance Sunday (8th November) there will be a Road Closure Order in place along Lower Lane and Green Lane in Chinley up to the junction of Stubbins Lane and Maynestone Road. This is to allow for the safe movement of the parade from the Community Centre to the War Memorial and then whilst the service takes place at the War Memorial. The roads will be closed from 10:30am to 11:15am but will be managed to keep disruption to a minimum and opened as soon as is safe to do so. Physical copies of the Road Closure Order have been posted on lampposts along the route today and a copy is attached here.
