It’s our Summer Fair on Sunday 19 July (11-4). It’s always a fun day, and a big fundraiser for the Community Association. But we can’t do it without your help -

Could you give a couple of hours of your time on the day? We need helpers for -
⭐️ moving the gazebos out of storage on the Saturday afternoon (12-3)
⭐️ setting up the marquees first thing on the Sunday morning (8-10am);
⭐️ a few more people to run stalls & games as well as helping in the refreshments tent (anytime between 11-4);
⭐️ helping hands for the big tidy up at the end of the day (4-6pm)

As part of our summer fair on Sunday 19 July, we are organising a 10k+ run between all 6 defibs located in our parish, to help raise funds for their ongoing maintenance.

We'll provide you with a paper map. Start any time between 11am and 12pm and navigate the unmarked course in any order to our six defibs and back to the Centre. There will be an orienteering puncher in each to prove you've visited.

It costs £11 (including a booking fee) and is for over 16s only.

Navigate to the six red phone boxes around Chinley, each of which houses a life-saving defibrillator. This race is helping fund the defibs' upkeep and replacement.

We need volunteers to help with our summer fair on Sunday 19 July. All the proceeds go towards maintaining our community centre and putting on activities.

Just a reminder the Buxworth Balsam Bash is planned for this Sunday 7th June from 10am – 12pm. Mike and Penny will meet you in the Rec car park at 10am.
