Huge congrats to Will and Charlotte who received the Rooke Cup at the District event last night - awarded to recognise exceptional new leaders - Les read the citation “Charlotte and Will are new and quite young Cub leaders. At the Fireworks evening at 1st Wormley, a young person became ill on the field and they leapt into action and administered 1st aid and called for help. They remained very calm under pressure and reassured the patient and his parents. The parent emailed to say thank you the next day and said "Everyone was brilliant during a very scary incident". “
The trophy was given by CLV Ian Tycer accompanied by DLV Rob Greyson
