The Phoenix Group is a free monthly bereavement support group for anyone experiencing loss. The group is supported by experienced therapists, providing a safe and welcoming space to connect with others.

🌸 Healthy, Happy and Together 🌸

Today was a final session of the many NHS Living Well Taking Control sessions at Wormley Community Centre, delivered by Coach Pelin. The beautiful flowers and gifts presented by participants were a lovely reflection of how grateful they were, and of the impact Pelin has had on the people she has supported.

At Broxbourne Big Local, we believe that thriving communities are built through strong partnerships. By working alongside organisations such as the NHS, we can bring preventative health support directly into our neighbourhoods, making it easier for residents to access the help they need close to home.

The programme has helped local people make positive lifestyle changes, improve their health and wellbeing, and build the skills and confidence to take control of their future.

A huge thank you to Pelin for her dedication, care and encouragement throughout the programme. We are proud to host initiatives that help local people become healthier, happier and more connected.

Here’s to many more opportunities to bring life‑changing support into the Wormley Community Centre through partnership working.
