Today some of our members attended the NODA East Midlands - Amateur Theatre in your region and we’re proud to say we won big for our 2025 production of The Girl on the Train 🎉
🏆Best play in District 6
🏆Best Play for the East Midlands Region.
Two of our members also picked up individual awards for:
🏆 “Outstanding individual performance in a play” for our Claire Simpson
🏆 “Best Director” for our Jenny Hawkins 🥰
and also a nomination for our Bec Orton for outstanding individual performance in a play 🎉
We are over the moon!
Also very proud of the Pantomime Company who also won big for their 2025 production of Mother Goose and special mention to our King of Panto John Hill for his Special Representative Award - very much deserved ⭐️🎭🏆

RELATIVELY SPEAKING - Alan Ayckbourn's popular comedy of mistaken identities, lies and evasions, will be staged by Broughton Astley Drama Society at the Hinckley Concordia Studio on the evenings of Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd @ 7.30pm, with a Sunday matinee on 22nd March at 2.30pm. Evening performances SOLD OUT quickly, but there are still just a handful of tickets for the matinee. The play is directed by John Ghent, and the cast has Joy Brankin-Frisby, Claire Simpson, Richard Tomlinson and Carl Andrew Smith. Tickets may be purchased on the Concordia website or on the door at the time of the performance.
