Cosby Crafters A friendly, creative group for adults interested in textile art & crafts. We create Yarn bombs too! We meet every Monday during term time.

No need to book - just drop in - £3pp donation towards costs but if this is a problem for you please let us know. Most folks enjoy yarn/textile based crafts but any arts/crafts are welcome as long as they're not noisy or disruptive to the rest of the group. Lots of us enjoy working on our Yarn Bomb projects but you don't have to. You are very welcome to bring along your own projects

to work on, take part in some of our Yarn Bombing or non at all. There is a really broad range of skills & experience at our groups, we value everyone's contribution equally & are really welcoming & encoraging of complete beginners - so don't be shy! 😘

The group is not a taught session, you can just bring along & work on whatever you like. If you do want to learn a new skill there is almost always someone happy to lend a hand. Lots of new members have learnt to crochet since joining. We also always have some yarn bomb projects on the go with materials & equipment available for you to use including projects for non knitters/crocheters to enjoy. It is important to us that our group has a warm, welcoming & inclusive ethos. We have a diverse range of people & ages who attend, only a couple of fellas so far but we're working on that! Some people come alone, others with friends, everyone is included, no one is left alone. We don't take ourselves too seriously, it's about meeting people, having fun, supporting each other, expressing ourselves creatively & being part of something together. Come along - we'd love to meet you! 🥰

💚 HELLO FRESH - CAN YOU HELP? 💚

Do you get Hello Fresh (or equivalent type) food deliveries? If so we need your help!

The flat wadding they use in their packages is great for our yarn bomb projects. If you have any going spare we'd love to take it off your hands!

Please drop to us at Cosby Crafters on Monday's at Cosby Village Hall (although, NOT THIS WEEK as it's a bank holiday & we're not there!). Generally, we'll be there from 9:30am - 12:00 & 18:30 - 21:00.

Just a reminder that there will be no Cosby Crafters group this Monday (April 6th) as we take a break for Easter.

We hope you’re all having a wonderful long weekend! Whether you’re busy hunting for treats or currently hiding in the kitchen "quality checking" the kids' chocolate eggs (we won't tell 🤫), enjoy the rest.
