2026 has started off strong with the Cub section learning about Space, Stars and even doing experiments about how meteors craters are formed! Our Cub section team have a packed programme for the cubs with lots of fun activities and badge work.

If you have a child between the ages of 8 & 10 who wants to join our Cub group. Please get in touch as we have space and are actively recruiting more Cubs.
The sessions run on Mondays, 18.00 - 19.15

The scouts spent last night carving pumpkins. Which one is your favourite? I think they all look great.

The Cubs did their first session of litter picking for their community impact badge.
We found quite a lot of rubbish which made us feel like we have made a small difference to the village.
Well done Cubs 👏

Whetstone adults, we need your help and support.
We are desperately in need of more adults to help with our sessions.
We have a great bunch of kids on our books and a back office team who are supporting our modernisation programme. But we lack adults to help deliver beavers, cubs and scout sessions.
So if you ever were in the scouting movement and now want to give something back.
Or just fancy a new rewarding challenge. Please get in touch and we will gladly talk to you to see where you can help.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our AGM last night. A big thank you again to our volunteers helping to run the sections and in the background as committee members, all vital to helping bring our scouting group into a more modern time.

Our Group AGM is tonight! BBQ and Bouncy Slide from 17.30. AGM from 18.30. Looking forward to seeing you all after a long summer!
