We are looking for adults and Squirrels to help us open a new section at 1st Whetstone.

We held a successful AGM on Monday night.

The Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Parents enjoyed playing in the sun, burgers and socialising.
Thanks to all those that came to support our group.

Our scout expedition challenge teams presented their experiences.

We formally welcomed Sophie and Kai into the group as adults as we invested them. They have both been with us for many years, Kai started as a Beaver and Sophie as a Scout. So we thank them for their continued support.

Mik, our cub leader, was awarded the Frisby Shield of Awesome Scouting.

With any luck we will soon be starting a Squirrel Drey, as we have had a parent border to work with us to open the the section for 4-6 year olds. So watch this space.

Thanks all.

Our scout section had a great camp at John's Lee Wood this weekend. The scouts cooked for themselves all weekend, did Archery, Air Rife shooting and Tomahawk Throwing! We even managed a sunset walk to Bradgate Park and back!
Tents have been hung up to dry at base and the leaders are taking a well earned rest.

Well done to all that came.
