Young Leicestershire’s detached youth workers go out into local communities — from rural villages to urban neighbourhoods — to connect with young people in the places they know.

By building trust, listening to what young people have to say and understanding the challenges they face, youth workers can provide support that’s relevant to each community.

It’s about being present, building relationships and creating opportunities.

Beaumont Leys Youth Zone is starting back on Friday 4th September at our new location:

📍 Barley Croft Community Centre
Based at Barley Croft Primary School

⏰ Sessions will run from 6:15pm to 8:15pm.

Our Young Carers Group has spaces available.

Transport is provided with pick-up points along a set route:
Start is Whetstone (Warwick Rd)
Blaby (Texeco Petrol Station, Lutterworth Rd)
St Thomas's Church (South Wigston)
The Exchange (Eyres Monsell)
Points on Saffron Lane.

Pick up will be finalised when we speak to you about the needs of the young person.
