EXCLUSIVE!

Monday 20th July, 2026:

Simon Shiekh has told his SSCOM GROUP that he will now finally plan to complete his outstanding “Radio 1 Roadshow” charity tour in Northern Ireland, Scotland and North East England in July 2027, instead of this year.

Speaking to SSCOM GROUP’s Sarah Stevens after returning back recently from a “Busman’s Holiday”, Simon said, “Unfortunately, as I’m unable to do so this year due to circumstances beyond my control, I can now finally get the opportunity to finish off my outstanding tour of 3 weeks (out of 9), as if I don’t do so next year, then may never get a chance to do so”.

"When you do things like this, it’s exciting because you are venturing into the unknown and don’t know what to expect, let alone come across, so I’m looking forward to this now”, he added.

However, there is the possibility that Simon could now visit the Isle Of Man and the Shetland Islands – (two places here in the UK that Simon hasn’t ever been to) sometime between now and Friday 21st August, instead of incorporating it into the tour next year, and that a further announcement will be made on Monday 4th January, 2027.

EXCLUSIVE!

Saturday 6th June, 2026:

"The Re-Union 2 - The Sequel" Producers, SSCOM GROUP further confirm return of previously off-screen character, Lexi.

Lexi (the supposed adopted daughter of Simon Shiekh) was not seen on screen in "The Re-Union", but did make an "appearance" in the recent, 7-part drama series when she was "uncovered" from the character of "Holly Jackson", in dramatic fashion, an undercover private eye!

But now, Simon has decided to "bring her back" to add spice to proceedings, in emphatic fashion.

"Lexi is part of a number of plans for this film drama sequel", enthused Simon.

Simon (who will play himself, fictitiously), will go down a "dark" path after being shunned by his in-laws, the Harman family, following being accused of domestic abuse towards his wife, Emma Harman, as well as catastrophe at SSCOM, itself.

But with the latest, dramatic development to be revealed in the form of Lexi's return, his wife, Emma will also get a shock, coming face-to-face with Lexi. Emma will also be questioned by Lexi as to if Simon has really domestically been abusing Emma, of late.

Dramatic scenes to be shot soon will show Simon going down a very dark path, indeed, as well as an unknown female cast member, forced to resort to private secret cam work after she loses her job at SSCOM PR agency.

Whilst these scenes set to be filmed are being kept under wraps, it’s set to be scintillating stuff, in the lead up to Simon’s mystery “disappearance”, and the woman finding herself in a dangerous predicament that she can't get out of. Plus Josie Hamilton also finds herself having to make a life or death choice after stumbling across something, in shock.

Speaking about this further development in the plot, Executive Consultant, Simon said: "I'm excited in unfolding Lexi's dramatic return, and we're in for an exciting nine months, or so - Lexi's return will also spell questions for the rest of the Harman family, as well as confronting Simon's identical triplet brother, Mason".

"Lexi is also going to play a major part in Mason's final exit - which will blow viewers and cast away", added Temporary Executive Producer, Amy Harrison.

This will also kick off another intriguing storyline, culminating in an explosive climax for most of the characters when the final truth is revealed, in emphatic fashion - is Simon behind it all, or could there be another explanation?....

SSCOM GROUP says that this is also part of their BIGGEST film drama feature, ever, which will send a few shockwaves galore and end part of a storyline in dramatic style………..

SSCOM GROUP’s Temporary Executive Producer of “The Re-Union 2 – The Sequel”, Amy Harrison, now to continue in role until Sunday 6th September:

A spokeswoman from SSCOM GROUP said that Simon Shiekh is unable to return to his role until after the end of Summer 2026, due to still being pre-occupied elsewhere.

Simon told SSCOM GROUP, “Despite myself still being away from the group, I am still preparing for my comeback in early Autumn".

The production will now include a “cuckooing” storyline, linked to one or more cast members, as well as a mysterious painter called “Rosa”, focusing on PR man, Simon, as well as new scenes to be shot in Italy (after Simon’s recent trip, there).

Luciana Williams speaking on behalf of SSCOM GROUP said, “Whilst Amy is still working on 50% of the production, Simon is still getting stuff ready to return, to take the production to the highest level, also signing up some new, key cast members, going forward, into an exciting and interesting rest of 2026”.

EXCLUSIVE!

Saturday 21st February, 2026:

A chesty cough recovering Simon Shiekh celebrates his 35th anniversary today when in 1991 (Thursday 21st February), aged 20, he was trekking on the bus to Loughborough (East Midlands – England – UK) to host a radio show from 9.30am to 11.30am (UK Time) on it’s University radio station for the very first time.

Having initially broadcast a “dry run” of 2 shows just 2 weeks previously, thanks to a cold spell thereafter which brought heavy snow to Eastern and Central England, notably Central London had 20cm of snow on the 8th with much deeper snow on the Pennines and in Eastern England - parts of Yorkshire recorded 51cm.

Temperatures remained below zero in these areas continuously between the 6th and 9th of February and maximum temperatures were between -3 and -5C, forcing Simon to stay at home and being snowed in with the family.

During the night of the 7th, the snow became heavy and persistent in London, bringing 20 cm in central London and 25cm in boroughs such as Croydon and Bromley, the deepest snow since winter of 1962-1963. This brought the rail network into chaos, Heathrow was forced to cancel flights and Gatwick and Birmingham airports were closed. On the 8th of February, the snow was lighter and started to ease. However, the cold spell and the snow lasted for several days, but then Simon was finally able to return back to the radio station for the “Time Out” show from 9.30am to 11.30am, and also did so on the Friday 22nd, Tuesday 26th and Friday 1st March.

Simon (who was out of work at the time in general, not long after finishing a Christmas temporary job at Argos in Leicester City Centre) told his SSCOM agency, “Despite being on the sick, thankfully, in the warm, I’m also able to look back on this exciting era for me, 35 years on having left Hospital Radio in Leicester, 9 months before, by still having the recordings of most of my programmes (including my very first one of Thursday 21st February) and of course, they are now being uploaded to our Soundcloud platform, exclusively – luckily, the cassette tapes haven’t snapped – sounds like I’ve managed to care for them”.

A spokeswoman for SSCOM GROUP said that Simon’s been able to see in 2 milestones (not only this 35th anniversary, but also his recent 55th birthday) with the best, still to come in 2026........

EXCLUSIVE!

Monday 5th January, 2026:

Sscom spoilers: Simon Shiekh kicks off radio broadcasting journey from early 90s following missing out on impending radio return (during Christmas and New Years Eve, respectively) to see out 2025, but now still set to make the return in spring 2026:

Producers SSCOM GROUP reveal further this afternoon that initial plans are still in place for the former Hospital and Student Radio presenter to “return” during late winter/early Spring, with a timeline to be confirmed in due course, after SSCOM IT to assist in technical set up.

In a further development since this was initially announced, they say that Simon could still end up in a “bidding” war to sign up for a particular radio station/or stations for the comeback.

In the meantime, Simon has now revealed his radio journey starting point and from today, listeners will be able to join the group’s “Soundcloud” platform and be notified as and when “shows” are “uploaded”. The first show (part 1) has now been uploaded today (from Sunday 8th January, 1995, the evening before Simon returned to the University of Bradford for the New Year) kicking off New Year, 2026 in style…..

A spokeswoman for the group said that it has been a long dream for Simon to “comeback” and surprise friends, strangers and acquaintances with some fab hits from the last 60 years and quips to sprinkle some sparkle, soon, but that he apologises for the radio presenting delay in the meantime.

Speaking about this further new development, Simon said “Following on from the recent announcement that I am looking to “comeback”, we’ve now decided to dish out my previous radio shows in 2026 that have never been revealed to everyone before. This is going to be so exciting to do and so, we have recently instructed our team to get the ball rolling – watch the space for more to come from now until Christmas/New Year”.

The new development is one of a number the group has planned for 2026 and also involves Simon returning to his former University town, Bradford (West Yorkshire) to volunteer for the last ever time for Bradford 2025 – City of Culture (of which officially ended on the weekend of Saturday 20th/Sunday 21st December, 2025, of which Simon was unable to travel up for due to a recent ankle injury) later this month and next month.

“2025 has still ended in style for me, despite a couple of recent setbacks, with more to be revealed, come 2026”, he concluded.

Merry Christmas from me (Simon Shiekh) and my fictitious, "evil" triplet brother, Mason - this time last year, we had not long filmed our next scenes Christmas Day! - the third time on Christmas Day, 1 year on!

But what was "historic" about last Christmas Day was that we had NEVER released a trailer on Christmas Day, itself, so was a real "first" - this would be something for me, personally, still to look back on for many years to come!! 😀😒

I'd PULLED it off!!!!!

All was now revealed - or had it? The story continues in to 2026..........
