๐Ÿ† | BOB BAIRD

Yesterday afternoon, Bob was presented with the Volunteer Lifetime Attainment Award from the Voluntary Sector Gateway for a lifetime of services towards raising funds for Armadale Thistle FC.

Bob has spent the last 30 years selling the Dale Lotto outside the Armadale Co-op on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He has also served in a number of capacities on the Supporters Club Committee over the years and regularly run the line on matchdays until he was no longer fit to do so.

His commitment to the Club is an inspiration to everyone and his award is very well deserved.

Everyone at Armadale Thistle send their thanks and congratulations to Bob. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’™

This Carers Week, weโ€™re recognising the huge contribution of unpaid carers across West Lothian who support family, friends, and neighbours every day.

Caring can be meaningful, but it can also take a toll on your own wellbeing. You deserve support too ๐ŸŒฟ

West Space brings together practical information, wellbeing resources, and local services so carers can find help in one place when they need it most.

Itโ€™s Carers Week 2026, and weโ€™re starting by spotlighting who carers are.

Carers come in all forms, they might be supporting a family member, friend or neighbour, often without recognition, but their role is vital.

If you are a carer, or you know someone who is, CoWL can help.

We are here to support unpaid carers in a range of ways that work for you. Find out more about how we can help by visiting our website: www.cowl.org.uk
