In exactly one week, we kick off our journey to Oz! Join Overton Dramatic Society on Tuesday 23rd June at 7:45 PM at the Overton Recreation Centre for our Wizard of Oz - The Panto script read-through.

Overton Dramatic Society is bringing Wizard of Oz - The Panto to the stage this November, and the journey begins next week.

If you are 16+ and looking for a fun, welcoming society come to our script read-through on Tuesday 23rd June, 7:45 PM at the Overton Recreation Centre. Auditions follow from Thursday 25th June.

Clear your diaries, Overton! The road to the Emerald City starts this month. 🗺️💚

If you've ever wanted to get involved with the Overton Dramatic Society, now is the perfect time. Here is everything you need to know to get involved with Wizard of Oz - The Panto by James Barry:

Tues 23rd June : Intro & Script Read-Through 📖 - all welcome (including those wanting to be involved 'off stage')

Thurs June 25th – Tues 2nd July: Auditions (supportive and fun!)

Tues 1st September: Rehearsals begin

24th – 28th November : SHOW WEEK!

No need to prepare anything in advance for the 23rd...just bring your enthusiasm and a love for panto! See you there!

Are you a brainless Scarecrow, a heartless Tin Man, or a cowardly Lion? (Or maybe just a fabulous Munchkin? 😉)

We are looking for all of the classic characters for our upcoming production of Wizard of Oz - The Panto! We have a spectacular show planned, packed with "hilarious" (!) gags and a brilliant mix of modern and classic songs.

Come put your spin on these iconic roles!
