How to install your Greener Kingsclere water butt.

Greener Kingsclere gave out 76 water butts to villagers last weekend. If you were lucky enough to get one you might be wondering how to install it.

It is usually a DIY job, so we asked local plumber Kerry Morrow to demonstrate.

If you have any questions please email [email protected]

Thanks to Sarah Davis for letting us install one in her garden, Southern Water for funding the project and Kingsclere Community Association for helping organise it all.

And they're gone!
All 76 of our water butts have now been distributed in the village. Thank you to everyone who claimed one - you will be helping protect our water supply, the stream and the natural environment it supports.

We were over-subscribed so we're sorry that so many couldn't get one. We hope to run the programme again so if you registered then we will keep you on file on the waiting list.

Waiting list applications are open at https://fieldgatecentre.co.uk/greener-kingsclere/
