Whether you arrived here by accident or design, you have landed on the page of a not-very-typical photography club. There are many reasons for this but we don’t, for example, have competitions and there is no “kit snobbery” in the club, so if you have a compact camera, a bridge camera or an SLR, and regardless of whether you shoot on digital or film, you can be sure of a warm welcome. By
attending our meetings and joining in our activities we’ll help you to understand what all the buttons on your camera are for, improve the quality of the photographs you take, and give you the confidence to experiment with new ideas. Our aim is to help each other enjoy photography and improve our skills in an informal and supportive way – and we are very friendly and sociable too! We have a full programme of meetings with first class speakers who will inform and entertain you, and a schedule of events throughout the year including field trips which allow you to practice your skills in the company of supportive and like minded photographers of all ability levels. We have a good mix of men and women members and we welcome anyone over 18 years old – we can accommodate junior members too. We run training courses and also have “hands on” practical sessions at some of our meetings. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced photographer we're confident you'll enjoy yourself. Why don’t you pop along to one of our meetings soon? Please check the Whats On section of our website for up to date information. We look forward to seeing you.
