Just a few days before we welcome Chris Quinn to the Old School in Odiham. Chris will be performing a variety of guitar blues, folk and roots music. Doors open at 7.15pm on Saturday 6th June and Chris has prepared a little sneak peak in the clip below. He’s a Shrewsbury chap so forgive his pronunciation of Odiham 😃. Excellent Charity lunch at the Odiham Cricket club today raising funds for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. All enjoyed a lovely lunch and listening to a very good speaker from this very worthy cause.

Images from our second working party at The Firs in Odiham which focussed on preparing the new viewing area for Bluebell planting.

What a lovely morning to start on the Firs project in conjunction with Odiham Parish Council. A hardy group of Rotary volunteers and friends started to clear back brambles and cut back trees to start to create a natural view point at the Firs with signage to be provided by the Odiham Society and a seat to enjoy the views and the wildlife in the area. We will have further sessions so do come and join us.

Some places are still available for free NHS Health checks in Odiham and Hook.

These checks will help prevent diabetes, heart disease. kidney disease, stroke and dementia and are aimed at people aged 40-74.

The health checks will be held at Odiham Cottage Hospital and Elizabeth Hall in Hook on the dates shown below:

Elizabeth Hall, Hook
10am to 6pm, Saturday 21st February
2pm to 9pm, Thursday 26th February
