🎉 It’s a wrap! 🎉
And what an amazing four weeks it has been! 💛
A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for the generous food grant, which has helped us provide meals and snacks for the children throughout the summer. Your support has made such a difference.
We’ve had four weeks packed full of fun, laughter, activities and memories, and we’ve loved every minute of it! ☀️🎨⚽️

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Ashmead School for their continued support and for allowing us to use the school to run our holiday club. Having access to the school’s facilities makes it possible for us to provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for the children. We are incredibly grateful for your support. 💛

It’s also been a special time for our staff, with some receiving their exam results and others preparing to leave us for exciting new opportunities, including new jobs, university places and apprenticeships. We are incredibly proud of them all and wish them every success and happiness for the future. ❤️

A massive thank you to our amazing staff team for all their hard work over the last four weeks. They have worked incredibly hard to keep the activities running and the children entertained, even during some very hot weather! 🥵☀️ There is so much work that happens behind the scenes, and we couldn’t do it without them.

We also want to recognise our wonderful committee, who are always there supporting and encouraging our staff behind the scenes. Your ongoing support is hugely appreciated. 💕

HAF has been another huge success this summer! 🎉 A big thank you to the HAF team at Buckinghamshire Council for all your support in making it possible.

And of course, a massive thank you to our parents for your continued support, trust and encouragement. It means so much to us. ❤️

Finally, and most importantly, thank you to every single child who has joined us over the summer! 🌈 We hope you have had just as much fun attending as we have had delivering the club.
You have made these four weeks truly special, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings!

🔥 Our Final Week of Summer Club – Fire Week! 🔥
We finished our final week with the theme of Fire and lots of exciting activities. The cooler weather was very welcome and meant the children could enjoy plenty of time outside, including football and a picnic on the field.
Throughout the week, the children enjoyed volcano experiments, fire-themed crafts, colourful lantern jars, chalk drawings, bracelet making, crochet, construction, puzzles, games and lots of imaginative play.
Our meals this week included pasta, jacket potatoes, fishcakes with new potatoes, and hot dogs on Friday, which we enjoyed as a picnic on the field. The children absolutely loved it! 🌭🧺
A huge thank you to all our wonderful staff for their hard work throughout the summer, and thank you to all the children for making the past four weeks so much fun.
We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon! ❤️

Important update on the food menu for this week coming.

Unfortunately due to staffing and issues with the food not being delivered on time we have had to change the menu last minute.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but as always all dietary requirements will be catered for.

🌊 The last day of Week 3! 🌊

Today we enjoyed more under-the-sea crafts, including fish decorated with pasta scales! 🐟 The children also had lots of water play, building and plenty of fun.

We’ve been taking the labels off jars ready for an exciting craft project next week. If your child is attending and you have any spare clean jars, please bring them in. 🫙

Lunch was chicken burgers today, but once again, the children had finished before I could get a photo! 🍔

Next week is our final week, with the theme of Fire 🔥 We have lots more exciting activities planned!

🥵 We survived the hottest day of the year!
We made sure the children drank plenty throughout the day to keep them hydrated. They enjoyed water play and lots of calm activities to help them stay cool.
As part of our Water Week theme, today was Under the Sea Day! 🌊 The children made some fantastic jellyfish crafts and had lots of fun creating their colourful underwater friends. 🪼🐠
Due to the heat, we swapped our usual hot meal for a giant indoor picnic, which the children loved! 🧺💗
A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for preparing all the lunch bags and filling them with lots of goodies.

We ended the day with ice pops..

Let’s hope it starts getting a little cooler over the next few days! ☀️💦

💦 Day 3 of our Water Theme! ⛵
Today the children designed and made their own colourful boats before testing them on the water to see if they would float! They also enjoyed water play, loom bands, drawing, games and some fantastic construction challenges.
For lunch, we enjoyed pasta with tomato sauce and garlic bread. 🍝
Another fun and creative day at Go Play! 🌊😊
