During May, our Secretary, W.Bro. Ewan carried his Rough Ashlar around, everywhere he went to promote Mental Health Awareness. He was often found chatting to people about his experience and listening to their challenges too. It wasn’t helped that Ewan is back in treatment for his Complex PTSD, which is progressing nicely.

His story also inspired W.Bro. Ryan Mangnall, a Provincial Steward for West Lancashire to carry his own Rough Ashlar, also raising awareness amongst his friends and brethren.

In total, the Rough Ashlar Challenge, since its creation in May 2025 has raised £8,435, a big chuck for the Freemasons Charity and also for local good causes like Buckinghamshire Mind and Andy’s Man Club.

Thank you everyone who supported the challenge, it will return very soon

Aluminium can run done today!

In 4️⃣3️⃣ days we have collected up and just recycled 2️⃣4️⃣6️⃣kgs of aluminium cans. Or about 17,000 cans!

The money rasied from this run will be sent to Lynx Gymnastics Centre to help them keep training up local Olympians after a devastating fire at the gym.

Since we started this aluminium can recycling back in September 2020 we have now recycled 8️⃣8️⃣9️⃣9️⃣ kgs or about 622,000 cans!

As well as ourselves benefiting from the money rasied, we have also given it away to others! The Aylesbury Foodbank, Emmett's Genies, Mini Beasts, Aylesbury Homeless Action Group, Dan's Community Group to name a few! ......We try and keep it local to help out our community groups and chairty's mate!!

We’re delighted to announce that a new Pool Pod will be installed at Stoke Mandeville Stadium this July, thanks to funding from Buckinghamshire Freemasons.

The Pool Pod will help disabled people access the swimming pool with greater independence, dignity and ease - supporting WheelPower’s mission to provide inclusive sporting opportunities for all.

As the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement, Stoke Mandeville Stadium continues to champion accessibility and participation in sport for disabled people across the UK.

A huge thank you to Buckinghamshire Freemasons for their generous support and commitment to improving accessibility.

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠🗣️

This year's theme is "Action". Whilst raising awareness is vital, real change comes when we take action, too.

For yourself: Choose one positive action that works for you!

For someone else: What can you do to help build mentally healthy communities, workplaces and schools?

For all of us: We need those in power to take action to ensure good mental health for everyone in the UK 🤝

A wonderful meeting last night, a third degree (raising) for Bro. Rhys as he continues his journey.

Our Worshipful Master conducted the ceremony and the Candidates good friend Bro. Andrew conducted the working tools with equal precision, a superb walking charge from Bro. Julian topped it all off.

We were also delighted to receive our Scottish Bro. Gordon, adding an extra dimension.

Our Secretary, W.Bro. Ewan continues on his Rough Ashlar Challenge.

He isn’t visiting too much right now as he is back in therapy for complex ptsd but he managed to get out to Longueville Lodge 9322 and Buckinghamshire Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge 9222. His fundraising now stands at £656 for the Bucks 2032 Festival and Buckinghamshire Mind.

Mental Health affects so many people in our community’s, many get treatment, like Ewan but many don’t!
