The IGSA was co-founded by the co-ordinators of the former Gay Activists Alliance International in July 2010, representing, Africa, the America’s and Caribbean, Asia and Pacific, Europe & the Balkans and the Middle East and North Africa. We are a non-government funded (NGO) not for profit organisation that relies on donations to sustain our global work. The IGSA consists of a global network of cam
paigners, counsellors and support organisations, working together with a number of affiliates. Through our many active campaigns and projects, we work to support the foundation of an all-inclusive LGBTIQ network with the support of many from the heterosexual community. We believe in social justness and fairness for all, regardless of a person’s gender and/or sexuality, and that “no borders” exist that could separate people within their rights to be treated as equals.
