Switzerland are the 2026 Powerchair Hockey World Champions! 🌍🔥

After an incredible week of intense competition, the Swiss team defeated the Netherlands 5–3 in a thrilling final to lift the world title.

Last week World Abilitysport President, Rudi Van den Abbeele, attended the 2nd Classification Conference & Workshop in Hong Kong bringing together 1,200 attendees with a focus on advancing the future of Para sport classification.

Rudi Van den Abbeele said "I would like to congratulate our friends at the China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee , President, Jenny Fung and Vice President, Dr. John Leung Lai Yin for organising such a successful event and for their tireless commitment to promoting fairness and integrity in Para sport."
