We are open this Friday 17th and Saturday 18th. Thanks to the nearly 400 adults and children who have visited over the Easter break so far - your support and interest is much appreciated. The Golden Easter bunnies are still in residence and the eggs are still in their wagons and there are still little treats on offer for those who can spot them! Plus a lot of interesting stock in the shop and bookshop as well!

Here's a film of a visit by Ragstones NSE just after we had opened the AIMREC Collection in November 2025. Thanks to films like this spreading the word, Good Friday was our busiest day ever with over 100 adults and children making the trip to Bethersden to enjoy the wonderful world of model railways. And we get to do it again tomorrow! Open between 10.30 to 4.00, our model shop, miniature railway and tea room with home-made cakes are all part of the experience. We are located at Mill Farm Business Units, TN26 3DB.

After the excitement of last week (captured in the video by our volunteer William Town) and the subsequent TV and social media coverage that has generated so many positive comments we would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point. From the start of the project over 10 years ago to the move to Bethersden in 2021 and now the opening of the AIMREC Collection, all the support through visits and donations (including model railway collections and books) has been really appreciated. We love sharing our passion for model railways with all our visitors and look forward to continuing to do that in the future especially now we have opened our super new building to display the AIMREC Collection. We are open as usual this Saturday 28th March 10.30 to 16.00 and from next week (Good Friday and Easter Saturday) we will be open Fridays and Saturdays throughout the Easter holiday until the 18th April.

So if you did catch the local news tonight you will know we were fortunate to be joined by some special VIP guests today to celebrate the official opening of the AIMREC Collection. Thanks to all concerned for a great day. After the excitement we will be open again tomorrow between 10.30 and 4.00 with the usual model railway attractions and a special guest loco running on the Spitfire Line. Plus we have re-stocked Revell paints and Airfix Quickbuild Kits and now stocking static grass starter sets from Gaugemaster. Find us in Bethersden at TN26 3DB.
