Well worth a read!

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a lifelong condition — but it doesn’t look the same at every stage of life.

From infancy through to adulthood, people with FASD may experience a range of challenges with:
• learning and memory
• attention and impulse control
• communication and social relationships
• understanding consequences and daily life skills

These characteristics can change over time and are often misunderstood — which is why FASD is sometimes called a hidden disability.

Every individual is different. With the right understanding, supports, and environment, people with FASD can thrive.

💡 When we understand behaviour as brain-based, we can respond with empathy — not judgement.
