Yesterday, after a very wet start, the skies soon dried up and the local community came out to enjoy a very festive and fun-filled Christmas Festival in Amersham.
We would like to thank all those who supported our stall - buying hampers, giving donations and talking to us about what we do in our mission to support local refugee families. Nearly all of our hampers were sold (we are pleased that so many people will be enjoying such a wonderful present for Christmas!) and the money we raised will allow us to continue to support our current families in their aim to integrate into our community.

But we have a favour to ask….if you didn’t make it to the festival, please have a look at our auction where there are huge bargains to be had on our last few amazing hampers which feature things like a Ted Baker toiletries set, everything your family tea lover could wish for in an ‘Afternoon Tea Lover’s Hamper’ and even a ‘Treat Yourself Hamper’ with a luxury blow dry voucher from the amazing Brendan O’Sullivan. You can also bid on a beautiful Ukrainian made wooden, 3D world map for your wall or a handmade rainbow baby quilt for that deserving child or grandchild.

It will run until this Wednesday. Hampers can be collected from Amersham or delivered locally.

Thank you very much…from the trustees, volunteers and the families we serve!

Our charity, Chiltern Welcomes, supporting refugee families in our local area, is doing a Christmas fundraiser selling hampers at the Amersham Christmas festival.

If you have any unwanted gifts or new products you are willing to donate/regift to us, they would go to a very good cause! This can include beauty products, toiletries, stationery, bottles, chocolates, nice foodstuff, mens products etc...

We have lots of themes so pretty much anything new goes!

*We are also looking for baskets or pretty containers to use to hold items.*

We can collect or have things dropped off. All items needed by 17th Nov!

You are also welcome to come support us at the festival on Nov 29th and purchase a hamper for a family member or friend if you would like 😊 We hope to have a list of hampers for sale with what is included and they will be beautifully wrapped for Christmas ready to gift!

Thank you so much in advance for your continued support! #
