Another of our summer Pony Days took place this week 🐎
Elsa, Jake, Seren, Sarah and JJ enjoyed the gymkhana games, and the 'what’s in my bucket?' ground game, amongst other activities 🌟

After last month's epic walk across the New Forest we can announce that with all of your help and donations, we raised a staggering £6369.26 for Abingdon RDA 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

✨ A sparkling new donation! ✨

Huge thanks to Evoke, who have presented us with 9 sparkling new hats and liners to replace our old ones, which were looking worse for wear! 🐴

We also had a lesson on fitting them correctly, which was really useful.

The new hats are light, comfortable, sturdy and safe — and we are so pleased with them!

A big, big thank you to Evoke for this incredibly generous donation. It is so appreciated and will make a real difference to our riders. 💚🐴

Pony Days have been taking place across the summer and as you can see, Daisy is more than happy with the attention this brings!!

Pony Days bring our riders and volunteers together for a whole range of activities including grooming, tacking up, games and of course, lunch!!

We made it!! 55km smashed 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Day 3 started near Beaulieu, taking us through the forest towards Brockenhurst and back again.

We're so proud of our efforts. Most of us are not experienced walkers and three days of consistent long distance in strong sunshine was not easy.

Your kind donations definitely spurred us on. As I type we're at £4914 - can we make it to £5000? It's not too late if you've been on the fence about donating.

Your kindness will support the excellent work done by and those ponies will love you forever 🫶

🚶‍♀️ RDA Big Walk Day 2🚶‍♀️

Day 2 of the walk took us on a circular route from Knightwood Oak, which is said to be the oldest oak tree in the forest - she's thought to be 500 years old! 🌳
A quick ice cream/coffee break at Bolderwood was most welcomed, before our lunch break in a shady secluded spot deep in the forest.

Matt and Tamzin joined us for the day which with Tricky the dog, meant we had 13 walkers. Lovely 😍

🚶‍♀️ RDA Big Walk Day 1 🚶‍♀️

What a day we had. Our first day of walking took us through the beautiful village of Burley, out over the open heath, back to Burley for a lunch stop and then into the forest.
The weather was pretty consistent, very hot at times but we coped!! 🥵
