The Mix We are the Sustainable Wantage shop front, encouraging sustainability through a Community Fridge, Refills, Library of Things, Repair Cafe, workshops and more!

15 Mill St has been brought it back into use as a community space. The Mix Community Fridge operates from here, and you'll be able to visit the Refill Station, drop of items for our Terracycle collections, come to the Repair Cafe, and workshops and courses once we're able to open these again.

The Clothes Clinic is a space for people to explore ways to make their clothes last, and be loved for longer.

We'll have stalls of sewists and crafters ready to show you how to repair and re-style your clothes. We'll also be able to make suggestions for those less creatively inclined on how to revive an item.

Free admission.
All welcome.
Pre-loved clothing sale upstairs.

Our Stitch Clinic is going big for Great Big Green Week!

Got a favourite piece thatโ€™s seen better days?

Bring clothes in need of repairs, or that youโ€™ve fallen out of love with along to Clothes Clinic at The Beacon on 6th June. Weโ€™ll also have clothes available on site for you to embellish, sew, and unleash your creativity on.

Weโ€™ll have makers and creatives sharing ideas for repairing, reworking and refreshing clothes you already own. From simple mending to creative decoration, you can explore ways to give old favourites a new life, or learn how to make your existing favourite clothes live longer.

Come for inspiration, learn a few skills, and leave with fresh ideas for the clothes in your wardrobe.
