We're excited to be part of CTM Parkrun People this Saturday!

This weekend, we will be launching CTM Parkrun People – a new collaborative community partnership initiative that brings together Health Board staff, patients, charities and local communities to champion the health and wellbeing benefits of being active by walking, cheering or volunteering.

Held at Pontypridd parkrun, the health and wellbeing focus of this month is mental health and we will have partners, Valleys Steps and The Good Stuff (Play It Again Sports) with us to chat to anyone who is interested in finding out more about.

5K Your Way will also be there, encouraging anyone whose lives have been impacted by cancer to join a supportive and welcoming community – whether this is to walk, talk, run, volunteer or cheer!

Come along to Pontypridd parkrun this weekend, to find out more about local support available in the community to stay active.

All Parkrun People will be wearing blue.

For information on how to sign up and where to you, please visit the Pontypridd parkrun page.

📣 We look forward to welcoming Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) who have chosen our parkrun for a special headliner on Saturday to promote the mental wellbeing benefits of parkrun. This initiative is called ‘parkrun people’.

A headliner is a parkrun event where non commercial, local organisations who support the community can volunteer and/or participate to promote their services.

We will be welcoming our own 5K Your Way: Move against Cancer, Valleys Steps, Play it Again Sport and the Alzheimer’s Society.

🤳We are hoping a few parkrunners might like to volunteer and film some content before and after parkrun. Please get in touch if you are interested in this role.
