We don't usually put children's faces on our public page, but this is an exception as we want you all to see the joy, awe and wonder of the children attending Little Rascals Preschool's very own Forest School (parents have given permission). Happy 100th Birthday Sir David, you are such an inspiration to our little learners 🎂

Our Forest School Preschool children learn on a daily basis the importance of nature and caring for our environment and this week we are paying homage to an amazing man who has his 100th birthday this week, Sir David Attenborough 🦍🐆🐳🐝🕷🪱 We feel strongly, if we don't teach our children to look after our planet, then who will teach their children? 🌏

Since our return after Easter we have been learning all about the Lifecycle of a Butterfly and Minibeasts. Invitations to play have been set up to support the children's learning and this week we were lucky enough to watch (and video) our butterflies emerge from their cocoons🦋

The warmer weather is round the corner! If your child loves the outdoors and is aged 2 years or older, here is your opportunity to enrol them in our dedicated Forest School setting, running 3 days each week, Mondays to Wednesdays, mornings and afternoons. Today we celebrated both Valentine’s Day and Pancake Day together. ❤️ 🥞 The children independently chose what toppings they would like for their pancake and then enjoyed it for their snack. 😋
