It's been a week since we kicked off Learning Disability Week by hosting a Garden Party at Stackpole Walled Gardens in Pembrokeshire to celebrate Mencap's big 80! 🎂

Colleagues, friends and Network Partners travelled from across Wales☺️

Thank you to all who made sure people we support were able to attend 🤝

Today Senedd Member Paul Davies marked Learning Disability Week & Mencap’s 80th birthday by addressing the Senedd chamber on the important role Mencap has played in the lives of people with a learning disability & their family carers in Wales.

A big Diolch to Mencap Mon for travelling down all the way from Ynys Mon to take part in Mencap Cymru’s march at Pride Cymru 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 we had a great time, walked 8,000 steps and showed that people with a learning disability have the right to be seen & heard in every part of Welsh society!
